Surface Marker WDS
First introduced in 2006 the Surface Marker WDS is being used by thousands of Dive Professionals all over the world.
The "Open Ended" Surface Marker buoy used in combination with the WDS 5.5m is a compact & easy to use solution for deploying your Surface Marker Buoy for your Safety Stop.
All fit neatly in the provided Carry Pouch which can be attached to your BCD.

Inflation / Deployment
By using the method shown on the videos you can safely and quickly deploy your Surface Marker buoy for your safety stop.
The SMB is easily inflated via the wide opening at the bottom of the buoy with your alternate air source.
The Details
The design and weight optimization of the Surface Marker WDS ensures that the buoy does not spill air on the way to the surface and will remain inflated on the surface even with no tension on the line.
As the webbing loop is stitched onto either side of the buoy it will stand upright in the water when tension applied to the line.
At the end of the dive simply tip the buoy over to empty the air, roll up and stow.
